Our Mission
I started Hacker Chronicles in 2025 after looking for something not just gripping and dare I say it ‘addictive’, but also mentally engaging in a way that get’s me thinking independently of the plethora of digital information sources we have at our fingertips.
Don’t get me wrong as there are plenty of very good podcasts out there, but I also wanted something that challenges me as part of the story and just couldn’t find it. So I decided to make Hacker Chronicles not just to delve into the shadowy world of cybercrime, hacking, and digital espionage, but to also introduce a twist to keep you zoned in and listening intently, not zoned out and just going through the motions.
At the end of each episode, I will challenge you with 5 TRUE/FALSE quiz to test your concentration and cognitive capacity, which you can take just by heading over to www.HackerChronicles.com. The multiple-choice quiz for each episode will be available for 30 days from the episode release.
Right or Wrong (True of False), the very fact you use your own brain matter, common sense and rationale independent of any digital assistance makes you a winner and it might just be the most fun you have all day.
What We Do
- Storytelling with a Twist: We delve into the shadowy world of cybercrime, hacking, and digital espionage with a twist, challenging you to game of TRUE or FALSE, with thought provoking questions at the end of each episode, giving you the chance to rank high on our leaderboard (bragging rights), get shop discounts or free merchandise and even a chance to come on the show and influence a future episode.
- Encourage Freethinking: We aim to connect like-minded enthusiasts who have a genuine passion to unravel the wild, wired world of cybercrime and to foster both collaboration and independent thinking as Cyber Sleuths without the need for digital assistance, just good old fashioned brain power, which is an increasingly rare commodity.
- Empower our Listeners: We help break down the complexity of cybercrime and through our story telling, do our best to help our community to better understand how to protect themselves within an ever changing cyber threat digital landscape. After all, cybercrime will continue to exist for as long as our digital lives exist.
Our Values
- Curiosity: We celebrate the relentless pursuit of knowledge and the thrill of discovery, that’s part of what makes us who we are, so whether right or wrong (True or False), we want to foster that curiosity and remind you there is nothing to lose when you question yourself.
- Collaboration: We believe in open, transparent and honest collaboration and encourage you to share your thoughts and reasoning (not your personal or private information) with other Cyber Sleuth’s for each episode. Free exchange of ideas gives us pause to question our own ideas and collectively makes us stronger. Ultimately, whether right or wrong, we grow with every positive experience and if you’re reading this, you most likely already enjoy the show, so it’s a win-win for everyone.
- Ethics: Hacking is about creativity and problem-solving and it doesn’t have to be about harm. Just imagine the positive power yielded if all of the worlds bad actors promoted ethical hacking and responsible innovation tomorrow. One of the greatest gifts we can ultimately depart this life with when the time comes is the knowledge we have hopefully wronged no one. Ethics, creativity and problem-solving is not something you learn from Wikipedia or an AI, it's something you foster yourself through your own experiences and pass onto others. So join us in listening, participating in the Q&A's and collaboratively engaging your your fellow Cyber Sleuth's in each episode.
Who We Are
Right now in 2025, it’s just me (The Phantom Protocol) and this isn’t my only gig or passion in life. I would also like to spend more time focused on developing and producing this podcast, primarily as it represents one of the few things in life I actually enjoy doing and like most if not all of you, time to enjoy what you do is a rarity.
Someone once told me “the most enjoyable experiences in life are often the shortest” and if you want to DONATE, every little bit brings me closer to spending more time making this show and in return, I will also reward you with access to bonus content.
If you just want to listen, the very fact you enjoy it and come back for more gives me a reason to keep going too.
